The obligatory type of insurance is the civil liability insurance of the aircraft owner when operating flights on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The limits of liability are calculated as follows:
– to third parties: at least 2 Minimal Monthly Wage (200 rubles) per kilogram of the maximum take-off weight of the aircraft;
– in relation to passengers: 2,025,000 rubles per passenger for damage caused to life and health;
– luggage: RUB 12,000 per passenger;
– hand luggage: RUB 11,000 per passenger.
For collective insurance, special rates apply.

For liability insurance, we are ready to offer you an annual insurance rate ranging from 0.15% of the sum insured, depending on the type of aircraft, its technical condition, type, intensity and geography of flights, base airport, experience of flight crew, insurance period and a number of other factors.

From January 01, 2013 the Federal Law No. 67-FZ of 14.06.2012 came into force.

Obligatory insurance Civil Responsibility (Obligatory insurance of the carrier’s civil liability for damage to passengers’ life, health and property) is a mandatory insurance of the carrier’s civil liability for damage to life, health and property of passengers.

This regulatory act regulates the relations between carriers and passengers arising from damage to passengers’ life, health and property. It also guarantees passengers monetary compensation in the event of an insured event.

Every individual entrepreneur or legal entity engaged in the commercial transportation of passengers must have this policy.

It is prohibited to carry out commercial transportation without an Obligatory insurance of the carrier’s civil liability for damage to passengers’ life, health and property since January 1, 2013!
